Bethenny Frankel Responds to Farrah Abraham's Claims of Judgment

TV host Bethenny Frankel has responded to the allegations made by "Teen Mom" star and former guest Farrah Abraham, who claimed that she was unfairly targeted by Frankel and was judged harshly during her appearance.

"Before going on the show, I was told that it would be a positive and inspirational talk for mothers and business women," Abraham told Radar Online after her appearance. "But as soon as I met Bethenny, it turned into a judgmental zone. She did not like how I valued my daughter's opinion and care so much about her that I allow her to have her own voice."

Now Frankel has responded to Abraham's claims and stated that she had not had any contact with Abraham since her appearance.

"I like to have a conversation with someone that I think will show a different side [of them] or a different conversation, and reflect human behavior, but a lot of those people are controversial for a reason, and they like to be controversial," Frankel told the website Wetpaint. "So the minute that they leave, they start leaking press items to make it live longer, because that's what their brand is, being controversial, and continuing to do that. Another type of guest isn't going to do that."

"It's really the people that are known for being controversial, there's a reason for it, and they leave and they kind of plant seeds so they will grow it 15 or 16 minutes," Frankel noted. "It's OK. I get something out of it, I guess they get something out of it. It is what it is."

The "Teen Mom" star appeared on the show to talk about becoming a mother at a young age and became upset when an audience member questioned her about waxing her 4-year-old daughter's eyebrows while she slept. Abraham defended her decision and said that she was a good mother who always had her daughter's best interest at heart.
