Bethenny Frankel to Remarry? Reality Star Linked to Billionaire Amid Jason Hoppy Divorce
Bethenny Frankel recently revealed that getting remarried has not been ruled out of her future, despite her ongoing divorce from Jason Hoppy.
The SkinnyGirl Entrepreneur, 42, was linked to billionaire Warren Lichenstein, just days after she filed for divorce from Hoppy, 40. She and the pharmaceutical sales executive, who also works in real estate, split in December after almost three years of marriage.
"I don't know that I would get remarried," Frankel told RedBookMag. "It's too soon to think about. But I'd listen to my gut. All through reality television, being honest, saying what's on my mind— that was my gut."
Prior to Hoppy, Frankel, who shares a 3-year-old daughter with him, was married to entertainment industry executive Peter Sussman in 1996. The reality TV star joked about now having her eye on some of Hollywood's most eligible bachelors.
"I've always loved Taylor Kitsch since Friday Night Lights. Taylor's got that shy strength to him, he's sexy shy. Too young! Who else? Ryan Gosling, he's a little intense. I like that," she said. "I love Seth MacFarlane. He's funny and demented."
The "Bethenny Ever After" star and Hoppy were often seen arguing on the hit Bravo reality TV show, which prompted divorce reports in 2011. Shortly after confirming their split, Frankel reportedly moved out of their marital home and into Lichenstein's $6.3 million Upper East Side, N.Y. apartment with her daughter Bryn, according to Life and Style magazine.
"Bethenny and Warren have been great friends for more than 20 years, and he has really been a support system during this sad time," a source told Daily Mail in response to romance rumors.
In April Frankel, who is said to be worth between $25 million and $55 million, allegedly requested sole custody of Bryn and while Hoppy had initially requested the same in his response to Frankel's divorce filing, he now simply wants a fair compromise.
"Jason has come a long way since he filed for divorce and requested sole custody of Bryn, just as Bethenny did when she initially filed. Jason doesn't want to cut Bethenny out of his daughter's life, and he recognizes that Bryn needs her mommy," a source told RadarOnline.com.
"Jason is agreeable to joint custody of Bryn, but Bethenny is absolutely balking. She wants sole custody of Bryn, period. No compromises. It makes no sense because Jason is a very active father and plans to be a huge part of his daughter's life," the source explained.
Sources expect that a judge will likely enforce their alleged prenuptial agreement when deciding on the case. The agreement was reportedly signed five days before their 2010 wedding nuptials.
