'Better Call Saul' Season 2 Episode 9 Spoilers: HHM Begins To Doubt Chuck's Capabilities

Fans of AMC's hit TV series "Better Call Saul" Season 2 were left with a vengeful feeling as Kim Wexler's hope of making a name of her own got crushed by Jimmy's older brother.

Spoiler alert for those who missed "Fifi," Kim finally decided to quit Hamlin Hamlin & McGill to realize her dream of putting up her own sign. Jimmy was even more enthusiastic for their plan of sharing an office space: two separate practices under one roof. As they looked into a re-purposed dentist's office which will be their headquarters, Kim blurted out that her lunch meeting with Mesa Verde turned out really pleasant and that things are exactly looking up for her.

HH&M, however, was somewhat alarmed that the big case will escape from their hands and so Howard seeks the help of Chuck. The latter was more than eager to see Mesa Verde despite his threatening electromagnetism sensitivity sickness.

Given the expertise, the size, and the resources of HH&M, the client in question ended up choosing them instead of Kim who is still struggling to stand on her own feet.

The tragic development crushed Kim and affected Jimmy. Jimmy, however, remained hopeful for his friend/love interest and still offered her some sense of optimism that their respective practices will turn out just fine.

But Jimmy did one thing to make it somehow possible. The meeting with Mesa Verde rendered Chuck unable to move around and so Jimmy has to look up for him. While asleep, Jimmy altered some information in the Mesa Verde accounts.

It's a small thing but his actions will bring utter destruction to his brother and with his relationship with Kim as well.

According to The Futon Critic's synopsis for "Nailed," the compromised file will lead HH&M to question Chuck's capabilities to handle his work.

As to what extent this mess will be about, viewers will have to find out when "Better Call Saul" Season 2 Episode 9 premieres this Monday, at 10 p.m. on AMC.
