'Better Call Saul' Season 2 Spoilers: Show Coming To AMC And Netflix
After the success of its first season, the "Breaking Bad" spin-off series "Better Call Saul" is expected to return with an exciting second season.
It was reported that Netflix recently released the trailer for the second season of "Better Call Saul."
"Better Call Saul" is a prequel of one of the interesting characters of hit series "Breaking Bad," Saul Goodman. However, in the prequel, his character still went by his real name, which is Jimmy McGill, played by Bob Odenkirk.
The first season of "Better Call Saul" focused on Jimmy McGill's journey to be a righteous lawyer, despite his mischievous past. However, the end of the season saw his character facing a major turning point in his life. With that, fans are anticipating Jimmy's transformation as the exciting Saul Goodman.
According to TV Line, the executive producer of the series, Peter Gould, shared some hints about what fans can expect from Jimmy this coming season. He said "Jimmy McGill's journey takes surprising, left-handed turns in season 2. He goes to places we'd never, ever expected."
He also added that the second season of " Better Call Saul" will feature 10 packed episodes when it returns next year.
Another " Breaking Bad" character is set to join Jimmy McGill in the new season. It was said that Mike Ehrmantraut, played by Jonathan Banks, will also be going through transformation in the episodes to come. Others joining them are the characters Chuck McGill, played by Michael McKean, and Kim Wexler, played by Rhea Seahorn.
The series has been a success, especially as a spin-off. After just one season, actor Bob Odenkirk was nominated for an award with his role as Jimmy McGill. However, the series did not win in any category.
"Better Call Saul" season 2 is expected to premiere on Netflix and AMC in February 2016.
