'Better Call Saul' Season 2 Premiere Date & Spoilers: Shooting Location in New Mexico, 23 Episodes Ordered

American television drama spin-off series "Better Call Saul" is returning to the small screen next year for its second season and fans can expect that it's going to be bigger.

According to a report by Realty Today, the show is currently in production and is now location shooting in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Spotted in the shooting location was a big bomber plane known as the Boeing B-29 bomber. As stated in the source, the aircraft is popular for having flown across the Southwest. Some of the airport employees also revealed that aside from the bomber plane, the production team has also made use of the hangar and maintenance building to shoot some scenes.

As of now, little details have been revealed about what's to come in the second season but fans can expect that the "Breaking Bad" spin-off will have 23 episodes. This was revealed during the time AMC President Charlie Collier announced in June that the show will be renewed for a second season. The series closed its first season last April.

Several fans have also been asking if some of the stars from "Breaking Bad" will appear in the show, particularly Bryan Cranston, who played Walter White, and Aaron Paul, who portrayed the role of Jesse Pinkman. There's no official news to that but Vine Report noted that both stars have said on separate occasions that they will be on board if ever they are called to do a guest stint on the show.

Master Herald also reported that Saul's secretary Francesca, played by Tina Parker, might appear in the show along with major drug kingpin Gustavo Fring, played by Giancarlo Esposito. It also cited that it was originally the show creators, Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, who gave out hints that some characters from "Breaking Bad" would appear in the spin-off but they didn't reveal much, leaving the fans guessing.

"Better Call Saul" is expected to air its second season first episode sometime in 2016.
