'Better Call Saul' Season 2 Spoilers: Jimmy McGill to Begin Consorting with Shady Characters
"Better Call Saul" season 2 is only a couple of days away from its premiere, and fans are about to see Jimmy McGill enter the world of drugs and begin consorting with shady characters.
In the finale of the previous season, Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) drove off to New Mexico to start a new life. Tired of being the good guy, he will begin transform into Saul Goodman in "Better Call Saul" season 2, the International Business Times reports.
When Jimmy left, he told Mike Ehmantraut (Jonathan Banks) that doing the right thing had not served him well. The next season will see him embracing his brand-new life and establish his ties with Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), Walter White (Bryan Cranston), and other shady persons in the story, the report details.
First, Jimmy must prove that the goons can trust him. Based on the trailer for the upcoming season, Nacho Varga (Michael Mando) may appear once again in season 2 and start making friends with Jimmy, the report relays. The latter may become the court representative of Tuco Salamanca (Raymond Cruz), Nacho's boss, the report adds.
In an interview with The Canadian Press, Mando has opened up a bit about what his character will be up to in season 2. He said Jimmy will encounter many surprising situations and Nacho will exert extreme effort to carry out his goals, Windsor Star relays.
Mando also revealed that Jimmy will be drawn closer to Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn).
"Jimmy and Kim's relationship is at the centre point of season 2. I can tell you that their professional and personal life is going to be explored deeply, professionally," said Mando. "And we're going to see how their relationship is going to affect their destiny … And probably involve the people around them in a very big way."
In addition, drug kingpin Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) will also appear in season 2. Fans speculate that he will play an important role into helping Jimmy transform into Saul.
"Better Call Saul" season 2 premieres on Monday, Feb. 15 at 10 p.m. on AMC.
