'Better Call Saul' Season 3 Spoilers: Chuck's Ultimate Betrayal May be the One Thing to Make Jimmy Transform to Saul; Will Kim Stay With Him Through It All?
In danger of losing Kim and his law career, the transformation may be the only answer to Jimmy's problem.
In last season's finale, Chuck revealed that he holds an evidence of Jimmy's admission that he falsified the Mesa Verde files. Since then, fans have been speculating that because of Chuck's betrayal, they will finally be able to see Jimmy's transformation into the cunning Saul Goodman in "Better Call Saul" Season 3.
Chuck's ultimate betrayal
Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk), did not expect him to be in a tight spot in "Better Call Saul" Season 3 with the evidence that Chuck (Michael McKean) now has against him. No one, much less Jimmy, expected from the beginning that the sibling's rivalry will end up with the ultimate betrayal that could possibly cost him his relationship with Kim and his law career.
The big question that fans want answered in "Better Call Saul" Season 3 is now that Chuck holds the power over Jimmy's entire being, how will Jimmy react to this situation he unexpectedly found himself into. Fans speculate that the most likely scenario for him is transforming into Saul.
Transformation may finally happen
Jimmy's transformation to become Saul has always been inevitable since the entire series is premised on that. For the past two seasons of "Better Call Saul", Jimmy was seen as always staying on the right side of the law regardless of the many temptations that would make him be otherwise. He has always chosen to be the good lawyer on issues. But, his betrayal by his own blood may finally be the turning point in his life that fans have been waiting for.
One of the persons that will certainly be dragged into Jimmy's possibly new and also odd life in "Better Call Saul" Season 3 will be Kim (Rhea Seehorn). However, she is known to be willing to stick with Jimmy no matter what path he decides to take in his life.
Saul with Breaking Bad characters
What fans are also looking forward to in "Better Call Saul" Season 3 is Saul developing closer ties with Mike (Jonathan Banks) especially on matters concerning work. It can be recalled that Saul and Mike's relationship as friends and colleagues in "Breaking Bad" was solid. Whether their strong ties will be established in the new season still remains to be seen.
With the confirmation of Gus Fring's (Giancarlo Esposito) appearance in "Better Call Saul" Season 3, fans are expecting Walter White (Bryan Cranston) to follow suit. However, no announcement regarding this as well as the premiere date for the new season has been announced by AMC.
