Beyonce, Jay Z Attending FIFA World Cup Celebrations in Brazil? 'They're Taking Blue Ivy'

Beyonce and Jay Z will reportedly travel to Brazil for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in coming months and retired soccer star David Beckham is said to be helping them plan part of their trip.

In June Brazil will host the month-long soccer tournament, which will see 32 teams from around the globe compete for the World Championship title. The tournament, which takes place every four years, is expected to attract various celebrities and high profile individuals and a new report claims Hollywood power couple Beyonce, 32, and Jay Z, 44, will take part in the football celebrations.

"Jay and Beyoncé don't really take an interest in football but they love the idea of the party atmosphere that will surround Rio during the tournament," a source told the Daily Star U.K.

"They're both pals with David [Beckham] and Jay has been asking him for advice on which games will be the best," the insider revealed. "He admits he doesn't have a clue when it comes to football, but David has been telling him which games he thinks will have the biggest buzz."

Beckham and his wife Victoria reportedly mingle in the same Hollywood social circles as Jay Z and Beyonce. Baby Blue Ivy is also expected to travel with her famous parents to South America in coming months.

"[Beckham's] even promised to organize VIP tickets for them for some big games," the insider said.

"They're taking Blue Ivy with them to make it extra special. Jay thinks that it will be good for them to have some quality time together as a family and Blue will be fascinated by the colors and buzz of Rio," the source added.

Last month the "Partition" singer wrapped up her Mrs. Carter World Tour after more than a year on the road. After performing a total of 132 shows around the world and reportedly generating more than $200 million in revenue, Beyonce has undoubtedly earned herself some relaxation time.

"They are both so excited about the trip now. Both Jay and Beyoncé think that attending the World Cup in Brazil is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," the source revealed. "They think it's going to be like the Rio Carnival multiplied by about a hundred."
