Beyoncé, Jay Z Go On 'Sweet' Post-Concert Date In Miami
Following the release of her much-talked-about visual album "Lemonade" and the start of her new world tour, Grammy-winning recording artist Beyoncé was spotted on a casual pizza date on Friday, April 29, with her husband, Jay Z.
The outing was one of the couple's first few public appearances together since the outcry against rumors of Jay Z's infidelity, sparked by certain songs in "Lemonade," hit the internet last week.
On Saturday night, the couple, along with Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles, and some friends, were spotted at Lucali, an upscale pizza place in Miami. According to PEOPLE, fellow diners reported that the two were "sweet" and "loving." As soon as the powerhouse couple entered the restaurant, Jay Z reportedly put an arm around Beyonce and was very "protective" of her.
On Wednesday,Beyoncé kicked off her Formation World Tour and silenced any speculation about an impending divorce by paying a loving tribute to her husband. Just before she sang the love song "Halo," Beyoncé said: "I want to dedicate this to my beautiful husband. I love you so much."
Meanwhile, despite speculation that the singer was alluding to her husband's cheating in her latest album, it has been claimed that Jay Z had lent his wife a helping hand throughout the whole process of making "Lemonade."
In a report by E! News, it was said that Jay Z had been very supportive of Beyoncé's self-expression and understood the reasoning behind the album.
"He had to approve the songs before release," a source told E!. "Jay is a very smart businessman... Bottom line is that they are both really smart and they both saw dollar signs."
Nevertheless, Beyoncé fans are still trying to puzzle out the singer's cryptic lines and are taking their clues wherever they can on the Internet. Last week, an Instagram post by Tina Knowles congratulating her daughter on the release of "Lemonade" was taken by some as confirmation that Beyoncé and Jay Z had indeed been/are going through some marital troubles.
"Toast to [L]emonade," Knowles wrote. "B worked so hard on this project day and night! It was soo important to her to offer something that would bring about healing and hope to the universe! No matter what you've gone thru in life you can always come out on the other side!"
