The Grammy award-winning singer arrived to the elitist fashion event wearing a Givenchy gown and onlookers claim she was sporting a slight baby bump. The New York Post's page six claims "multiple sources" within the music industry have confirmed that Beyonce, 31, and husband Jay-Z, 43, are expecting their second child.
"I think my daughter needs some company. I definitely love being a big sister," Beyonce recently told "Good Morning America" co-host Amy Robach about having another baby. "At some point, when it's supposed to happen."
In January of 2012, Beyonce gave birth to her first child, Blue Ivy, and in February she opened up about motherhood in an interview with Vogue magazine.
"She's my road dog. She's my homey, my best friend. I feel like I have something that has grounded me so much more. Family has always been important. I've always had my mother and my father and my husband. But it's just ... Life is so much more than ... It's not defined by any of this," she told Vogue.
"I felt very maternal around eight months and I thought I couldn't become any more until I saw the baby," she explained.
The "Halo" singer previously faced a series of bizarre reports suggesting she used a surrogate to deliver her baby girl, but she maintains this is untrue and that she had a natural birth.
"But it happened during my labor because I had a very strong connection with my child. I felt like when I was having contractions, I envisioned my child pushing through a very heavy door. And I imagined this tiny infant doing all the work, so I couldn't think about my own pain ... We were talking. I know it sounds crazy, but I felt a communication," she said.
"My family and my closest people were there when I gave birth. Everything that scared me just was not present in that room. So for me to really let go and really appreciate every contraction ... it was the best day of my life," she added.
