Beyonce Starring in New HBO Series
Beyonce, 32, is returning to HBO with a second documentary, this time in the form of a mini-series that will document her world tour.
In the mini series titled, BeyonceX10, the singer will be featured on HBO networks for 10 episodes that will document her Mrs. Carter world tour that began last year and ended earlier this year. News outlets like Time are reporting that fans can expect to see Beyonce perform songs like "Blow/Cherry," "Drunk in Love," "Ghost/Haunted," "Flawless/Yoncé," "Get Me Bodied/Baby Boy/Diva," "Girls," "Heaven," "Partition," "Why Don't You Love Me?" and "XO" in the series.
The series will begin on June 29 at 8:55 EST. However, this is not Beyonce's first run with HBO. Two years ago the singer directed and starred in the HBO documentary, "Life Is But a Dream" which garnered 8.9 million views, according to Time
In the documentary that aired on the network, the Grammy Award-winning singer revealed that she battles with revealing herself to the public.
"I always battle with how much do I reveal about myself," Beyonce said in the HBO documentary. "If I'm scared be scared, allow it. Release it."
Beyonce's HBO documentary, "Life Is But a Dream," gave fans an opportunity to hear the singer's thoughts about being married to rapper Jay-Z, surrogacy rumors and undergoing a miscarriage. The singer previously spoke to The Associated Press at the film's New York premiere about her reasoning for creating the film.
"I felt that after 16 years of being a public singer, people didn't know who I was," Beyonce told AP. "I will always keep certain things to myself because it's only natural."
It seems one thing Beyonce will not keep to herself is her performance on the stage, which fans will be able to witness in the upcoming HBO series "BeyonceX10."
