Big Bang Theory Raises Could Bring Cast Members Salary to $1 Million per Episode
Cast members of The Big Bang Theory are set to get big pay raises as the top comedy series on television readies for its seventh season.
Award winning cast member's including Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco are set to receive a big raise after co-stars Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch received new contracts with studio Warner Bros.
The new deals for Bialik and Rauch, who came on the show midway through the series and went from a few appearances to starring roles, went from $20,000-$30,000 an episode to the reported $60,000 per; with increases each year taking them to $100,000 for an episode by the end of their new contracts.

Emmy winner Parsons who plays Sheldon on the sitcom along with Galecki and Cuoco may seek up to $1 million per episode which is a big raise from the trio's current salary of $325,000 per episode, according to a TV Guide Magazine report.
Original stars Simon Helberg (Howard) and Kunal Nayyar (Raj) also are said to be looking for increases and will renegotiate together.
During its sixth season last year the CBS comedy over took ABC's Modern Family as the number one comedy on television will the highest ratings in the coveted 18-49 demographic.
CBS has renewed The Big Bang Theory through its upcoming seventh season, which will premiere next week.
The show, which airs on Thursday evenings, is up for an Emmy for best comedy Emmy and Parsons is once again seeking to win the award for best actor.
Even though the comedy series has yet to win an Emmy in the comedy series category anchored by award winning actors the possibility for cable sitcom comedy dominance can't be far away.
