'Big Hero 7' Release Date News: Expected Premiere in 2018, Tadashi to Come Back as Sunfire?
Many are looking forward to seeing the adorable healthcare robot Baymax in action again. Fortunately for the fans, it's going to happen as a sequel titled "Big Hero 7" is bound to happen. According to a report by Cross Map, Stan Lee has confirmed early this year that a part two of "Big Hero 6" will happen.
He had told Toronto Sun that after "Ant-Man," they would "start playing around" with "Doctor Strange," "Black Panther," and the "Inhumans." He also said that they will be working back on a sequel for "Guardians of the Galaxy" as well as "Avengers," and "Captain America."
There is speculation going around saying that "Big Hero 7" will be worked up by Disney after "Guardians of the Galaxy 2," which means that the movie, featuring the robotics prodigy Hiro and his friends turned high-tech heroes, will most likely have a 2018 release date.
If the rumor is true, the sequel will happen four years after "Big Hero 6" premiered. It never really came as a surprise though that the animated movie will get a sequel. A previous report by Movie News Guide said that the Disney film fetched $651 million worldwide and it is 2014's highest grossing animated film.
Right now, fans are wondering what "Big Hero 7" will be all about and the top news in the rumor mill talks about Hiro's brother, Tadashi, who was killed during the lab explosion in the first movie. A lot are saying that Tadashi might not be dead yet and might come back as the villain. The rumor is primarily based on the part when Baymax told Hiro "Tadashi's here."
It came out as a hint that Tadashi may still be alive as an invention in the hall may have saved him. Reports also say that he will return as Sunfire, one of the original members of "Big Hero 6." But as of now, there are still no details whether he will return as an antagonist or a protagonist. Fans will just have to wait and see.
