Black Friday 2014: Best Gift Item Deals of the Year for Moms, Dads, and Kids

The season of gift giving is almost here, and with people looking to save money while shopping for the best gifts, it's no wonder that many are planning to do most of their holiday shopping on Black Friday, when all the deals on electronics, house wares, toys, and other items are rolled out from almost every major store.

Here's a list of places to go to for the best gift item deals around town on Black Friday:

For the kids:
For children, nothing beats getting new toys on Christmas morning. For the best deals, head to Toys R' Us. From toys, action figures, dolls, electronics, board games and more, this store has everything to keep little tykes entertained. Thanksgiving Thursday at Toys R' Us will feature 4-hour deals between 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.. Doors open from Nov. 27 at 5 p.m. and stay open through Saturday until closing time.

For moms:
A little TLC and luxury will go a long way when it comes to giving gifts to moms. Sephora has yet to disclose which among their brands will be participating in the Black Friday sale, but the cosmetics megastore will reportedly have premium items for as low as $10.00 each.

At Target, handbags and wallets go for as low as 50 percent off— sure to please fashionable moms everywhere.

For moms who work from home, Staples has a surprisingly good selection of gifts, such as a Keurig K10 coffee brewer for $99.99, an Asus laptop for only $99.99, a Canon Pixma wireless printer for only $49,99, and a Kindle Paperwhite for only $99.

Staples opens its doors at 6pm on Nov. 27 and continues on Black Friday at 6 a.m.

For dads:
For dads, Ace Hardware is a treasure trove of great gift items. For $99.99, one can get the Dewalt Cordless Compact Drill/Driver Kit, Dremel 180-piece accessory set at $9.99, and a Black and Decker Fully Automatic Battery Charger for only $49.99.

Dads who are tech fans will certainly appreciate what Office Depot has to offer, such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 for $89.99, Dell Inspiron 15" laptop at $179.99, HP Deskjet 2544 printer for $19.99, and a portable power bank for only $9.99.
