Black Friday 2017 Apple Deals: iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPad, Apple Watch Discount Predictions

Thanksgiving is fast approaching and, for Apple fans, that means getting huge discounts on Apple products on Black Friday.

This year, Black Friday in the United States falls on Nov. 24. But, since the new iPhone X will be released three weeks before that, some Apple fans may not be able to wait to get their hands on the highly anticipated smartphone.

However, according to BestBlackFriday.com, it is advisable to skip the pre-order and wait until the largest shopping day of the year in order to buy the iPhone X. Since the smartphone is new to the market, though, fans should not expect a huge price slash. Instead, the publication predicts that Apple retailers will offer it for $0 down with a $300 gift card for installment plan activation. Unlocked versions of the iPhone X, on the other hand, could only get a 5 percent markdown.

The release of the iPhone X opens doors for other discounts, however. Older models like the iPhone 7 may get more significant price cuts. When the iPhone 7 was first released last year, it received a $0 down and $250 gift card for installment plan activation. So, it is likely that the iPhone 8, which was just released this year, will get the same discount. However, since the iPhone 7 is old news, fans can expect to see a $100 discount on any size on Black Friday.

That said, interested buyers are advised not to head to Apple on Black Friday since the Cupertino-based tech giant rarely offers good discounts. For Black Friday shopping, consumers should head over to retailers like Walmart, Target, and Best Buy for the best deals.

Other Apple devices like the iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 4 and Apple Watches are also expected to go on sale, with price slashes ranging from $149 to $200.

Some retailers offer Black Friday deals ahead of the actual Nov. 24 date, so it is best to keep an eye out for any that pop up early.
