'Black-ish' Season 4 Spoilers: Junior Heads to Public School
The upcoming episode of "Black-ish" season 4 will see Junior (Marcus Scribner) attending public school.
The synopsis of the next episode, titled "Public Fool," states that Junior will be involved in an incident at Valley Glen Prep that will jeopardize his future at the school.
A teaser trailer for the new episode has also been released, and it reveals even more about Junior's future. It previews Junior telling his family that he has been expelled from Valley Glen Prep. Pops (Laurence Fishburne), Jack (Miles Brown), and Diane (Marsai Martin) all laugh at the news, though it remains to be seen whether they simply think Junior is joking.
Due to his expulsion, Junior will be enrolled in public school instead. Dre (Anthony Anderson) and Bow (Tracee Ellis Ross) are visibly worried about Junior's future. Pops lets them know that he actually attended public school, and he turned out just fine, to which Bow reacts surprised.
In the previous episode, titled "Advance to Go (Collect $200), " fans saw the Johnson family sit down for a game of Monopoly. While his intention was to have fun with everyone, Dre's competitive side got the better of him. After they laid out their own special rules, the family, including Junior's girlfriend, started playing in pairs as business partners.
However, when it became clear to Dre that he was winning more without Bow in the room, he cut business ties with her and forced her to join Jack and Diane's team. Unfortunately, Dre let his ego get in the way of things, and he soon found himself losing after unlucky dice rolls. He ultimately flipped the board game over in frustration of his loss, resulting in him having to pay each person $100 of real cash as part of another family rule.
"Black-ish" season 4 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
