"Black Museum" is divided into three stories, each with its own surprises. Douglas Hodge, Babs Olusanmokun, and Letitia Wright lead the episode with Colm McCarthy as director.

"Crocodile" was shot in Iceland and will feature Andrea Riseborough, Kiran Sonia Sawar, and Andrew Gower. John Hillcoat directed the episode about people's memories going public.

"Hang The DJ" has a bit of comedy and sex. "Black Mirror" usually delves into darker themes but this will be a fun watch for viewers. Tim Van Patten directed the episode featuring Georgina Campbell, Joe Cole and George Blagden.

"Metalhead" was shot in black and white, which is a first for the show. David Slade directed the episode starring Maxine Peake, Clint Dyer, and Jake Davies.

"USS Callister" was inspired by "Star Trek." Creator Charlie Brooker predicted that this will be "Black Mirror" season 4's most popular and critically-praised episode like "San Junipero" in season 3. Toby Haynes directed this installment starring Jimmi Simpson, Jesse Plemons, Cristin Milioti and Michaela Coel.

The theme of "Black Mirror" since it began in 2011 focuses on how technology has taken over lives. Brooker, however, believes that technology is not bad per se and the show isn't anti-technology.

"The technology is neutral and what causes a problem in our stories is some sort of human failing or weakness or maliciousness or clumsiness," he said.

Netflix should announce the premiere of "Black Mirror" season 4 soon. Previous seasons, however, are still streaming on the platform.
