Blake Shelton Wants to Have a Baby with Gwen Stefani

Blake Shelton is rumored to leave "The Voice" to focus on having a baby with his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani. According to reports, the two are so enamored with each other that they are already planning to take the next step in their relationship and have a baby.

In a recent interview with Us Weekly, a source close to both Shelton and Stefani revealed that the couple actually plans on getting married one day, although right now they are more focused on adding a baby into their lives. "Right now they are hyper-focused on getting pregnant," revealed the source.

Shelton and Stefani have been dating for two years now, and despite that fact that Stefani already has three children — Kingston, 11, Zuma, 9 and Apollo, 3 — with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, it looks like there is no stopping Shelton from hoping that he could have a baby with his girlfriend, too. According to the source, both Shelton and Stefani are hopeful that Stefani will still be able to bear another child despite her age. She is now 48.

The source said that Shelton believes there's still a chance for Stefani to give birth, considering that she was able to safely deliver Apollo only three years ago. She was already 45 then.

When Shelton broke up with his previous wife, country singer Miranda Lambert, in 2015, reports revealed that starting a family was one of the reasons for their divorce. Friends of the ex-couple revealed that Shelton had always wanted to be a father, but Lambert had a different plan.

Now that Shelton is with Stefani, reports suggest that the two are on the same page and have already agreed to have a family. In fact, a source also revealed that Gwen has been trying to conceive since last year, to no avail. "It's something that they really want and it's just not working out the way they wanted it to," said the source.

Meanwhile, Shelton is giving his girlfriend a sweet shout-out on his upcoming album. In one of his tracks titled "Turnin' Me On," Shelton gushes about his girl to tell her how much he adores her. The album has yet to have a release date.
