'Blindspot' episode 2 spoilers and pilot episode recap: Jane learns more about her past

On the next episode of "Blindspot" entitled "A Stray Howl," the official synopsis reads, an Air Force pilot with a destructive plan is on the team's radar — thanks to one of Jane's tattoos. Meanwhile, Jane recalls bits and pieces of an unsettling memory; and Weller believes he might know who Jane really is.

In some photos from the episode, it seems that Jane will be getting some target practice. Agent Weller will be teaching Jane some defensive moves as they do training. Jane defeats Weller during the training session. Later on, Jane learns about another tattoo, which seems to confuse Agent Weller. Jane learns about a rouge fighter pilot after which Weller leads a meeting. Colonel Powers speaks with the team, which disturbs Jane. Tasha Zapata listens closely, while Weller finds out more about Jane's past. Colonel Powers leaves the FBI headquarters. Major Arthur Gibson is on a very deadly mission. Jane escapes from a car before it explodes.

The pilot episode began with the discovery of a mysterious bag in the middle of Times Square. Inside the bag was a woman covered in tattoos. The woman had no memory at all and her origins baffled the FBI.

FBI Agent Kurt Weller was contacted because his name was tattooed on her back. However, he had no idea who she is. They named the woman Jane for Jane Doe. Jane ended up assisting Weller solve the crimes that the team uncovered from her tattoos. It is discovered that Jane was skilled in many things including Chinese. The team successfully prevented the death of the mayor's wife. In the end, Jane was taken to a safe house.

"Blindspot" airs every Monday.
