'Blindspot' Season 1 Fall Finale Spoilers: Team On The Trail of Sleepers; Jane Doe Interrogated By Carter
Time flies fast and NBC's hit mystery crime drama TV series "Blindspot" is already heading into its fall finale and won't be returning on air until February of next year. Needless to say, the spoiler reports for this week's episode suggests that fans will certainly be reeling over the upcoming developments which are about to unfold and these will make them further anticipate the show's second-half.
Titled "Evil Handmade Instrument" ("And Unveil the Mastermind"), the synopsis posted over at The Futon Critic says that the team will be chasing after "a group of sleeper spies that have just been activated." This will prompt Kurt Weller and the rest of the squad to try to "stop a slew of assassinations" that these covert people have been instructed to carry out.
The promo trailer, which was shared over at Latin Post, seems to suggest that these sleepers could be related to the tragic incident that took place in the last episode. Fans may recall Patterson's ex-boyfriend, David, tailing an unknown red-haired woman he saw at the library.
This is the same library where FBI Assistant Director Bethany Mayfair caught the lovers trying to solve one of Jane Doe's mysterious tattoos. David saw the red-haired woman reaching for the very book that he and Patterson had used as reference.
The episode ended with David getting stabbed. The culprit is most probably the woman. The housewarming party was instantly interrupted when Patterson and the gang received the news.
The clip also sees Jane in a quite sticky situation. The amnesiac, heavily-tattooed woman is being held captive for interrogation by the CIA Deputy Director, Tom Carter. The latter can be seen torturing Jane as he asks her who she really is.
Jane, who is thought to be Kurt Weller's childhood bestfriend who vanished 25 years ago, said that she has no idea. Carter wasn't satisfied with the answer.
How did Carter manage to get his hands on the FBI's most-priced personnel in the first place? Could Zapata be involved with Jane's kidnapping? How will the FBI, especially Weller, react to this situation?
Don't miss the intense closing episode of "Blindspot" Season 1 which airs this Monday, Nov. 23, at 10 p.m. on NBC.
