'Blindspot' Season 1 News, Spoilers: FBI Tackles a Possible Virus Outbreak; Show Gets Full-Season Pickup
The new episode of NBC's crime drama TV series "Blindspot" is expected to see Shaw officially joining Weller in the FBI as they hope to tackle a possible virus outbreak. Meanwhile, the series gets its full freshman order.
Citing the spoiler report from LatinPost.com, it is said the episode titled "Bone May Rot" will find Bethany Mayfair finally agreeing to Weller's plan to enlist Shaw in the team and even gave her a service gun.
The squad is said to take on a new case given to them by the Center for Disease Control (CDC). At the CDC, after taking a closer look at one of Shaw's tattoos, Patterson and her puzzle-expert boyfriend, David, discover a pattern signifying a plan that could spell disaster for the world.
The latest promo trailer shared by the network hints that the FBI will spot a series of numbers in Shaw's tattoo which, as it turns out, matches the genetic code of an infectious disease. Things escalate quickly when they notice that vials of Ebola virus have disappeared. As they race against time to stop the virus outbreak, the events will consequently cause Shaw to remember an event.
Throughout all this, Shaw and Weller are expected to get even closer after they found out about their past.

The news followed after the network ordered the back-nine scripts for the Jaimie Alexander-starred drama.
