'Blindspot' Season 1 Recap, Spoilers: Jane Meets The Wellers; FBI and CIA Butt Heads Over A Hostage Crisis
Last week's showing of NBC's phenomenal crime-fighting drama TV series "Blindspot" Season 1 left a lot of cliffhanger moments that makes the next episode too exciting to miss.
For one, there's the continuing issue of whether or not Jane Doe is really Taylor Shaw, Kurt Weller's childhood friend. Although the DNA test results confirmed the two persons as one, new DNA findings from her tooth emerge to say that Jane/Shaw may have been born in Africa.
Fans also get to be introduced to FBI agent Tasha Zapata's gambling issues. She was seen dealing with a mysterious man wanting her to pay off a certain amount of money within three days. It is quite interesting to find out how this storyline will affect the main arc.
The case file shrouding a certain secret operation called "Daylight" also gets focused on. Although it is Bethany Mayfair's interest to protect her agents at all cost, it remains to be seen how long she will be able to hold things intact while being constantly pressured by the deputy director of the CIA, Tom Carter, to eliminate Jane Doe.
In this week's showing titled "Split the Law," the rift between the CIA and FBI will further manifest. According to the synopsis provided over at The Futon Critic, the two agencies will argue after a "seemingly straightforward hostage situation turns out to have a deeper international implications."
The two agencies find themselves competing as both of them tries to get hold of a criminal who apparently has some "dark history." Could this person hold some information about the dreaded "Daylight" operation?
Meanwhile, the new episode will finally see Taylor/Jane meeting Kurt's family. However, a sneak peek shared over at Inquisitr.com indicates that the meeting might prove to be so overwhelming for her because she still has some questions about her own identity.
"Blindspot" Season 1 airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on NBC.
