'Blindspot' Season 1 Spoilers: Gaius Charles Comes to the Show in Episode 12

In one of the most intense television shows this year, "Blindspot" has acquired "Grey's Anatomy" alum Gaius Charles to take on an army suit.

Charles is known for his TV appearances including "FNL" and "Aquarius." He left "Grey's Anatomy" in season 11, and while it is yet unclear what his character will do to affect Jaimie Alexander's Jane Doe, many are already looking forward to his performance.

TV Line says Charles will appear in episode 12 as Army sergeant Charlie Napier. The questions about his role pile up as nothing much is known of how a military man could share something in common or either have something to do with Doe's past.

However, since the spoilers reveal that he will have "something mysterious in common with Jane," rumor has it that he may also appear with a whole bunch of tattoos. Other fans speculate that he may hold one key aspect that will clear out Jane Doe's blurry past.

Episode 9 saw David (Joe Dinicol) trying to make it up to his mistakes so he can somehow patch things up with Patterson (Ashley Johnson). Patterson had to call her relationship off with David after she realized that trust isn't anywhere near the two of them.

Aside from the show of emotions, episode 9 also saw Thomas Carter (Michael Gaston) ordering Tasha (Audrey Esparza) to install a surveillance device in Jane Doe's apartment so he can keep watch on her activities.

Of course Tasha doesn't want to be ordered around, but like any other series, someone has to be the person that takes everything despite hesitance due to the involvement of money.

The episode also saw FBI Agent Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) getting closer to Jane Doe as the two went undercover as an assassin couple to keep sensitive information from being leaked.

Since Charles' Napier has not been heard of in the previous episodes yet, it would be interesting to see his character giving off some important details about Doe's past that could either make or break the tattooed heroine.

"Blindspot" airs every Monday at 10 p.m. on NBC.
