In the upcoming episode of "Blood and Oil" entitled "The Birthday Party," the official synopsis reads, "Billy turns to an unlikely ally for help in his quest for revenge against Hap; Wick ignores Hap's wishes and continues to see Jules, and even gets Carla to help throw her a birthday party at the house; and AJ makes a major decision after things come to a head with Lacey."
In a promo for the episode, it seems that things are heating up in the small town as lies, deception, and revenge run rampant. The episode is filled with exploits and conquests as people continue to hook up and tensions rise.
In the preceding episode, it began with Wick as he woke up from a nightmare. He was feeling guilty about trying to kill his father. Elsewhere, Hap talked to Carla since he could not believe that his own son tried to kill him. Hap decided to bring Wick back into the family business.
Meanwhile, Billy was disappointed about losing the deal with Hap as Cody reminded him that they got a house instead and that they will be going into the restaurant business with Kess and his wife. Garry was freaking out about the oil tanker and Wick told him to hold on to it. Garry does not listen and he got rid of the tanker at the reservation.
Hap showed Wick a piece of land that he wanted to work on with him. Wick told Garry that he was going straight and that he would be working with his father. Hap invited his daughter Lacey for a business meeting much to the annoyance of Clara.
In the meantime, Cody went to Jules and asked about real estate. Billy wanted to get in on one of Hap's new business deals. He was rather desperate. Hap asked Wick to take Billy to the new oil site as an investor. Wick was not happy as he and Billy fought and threw punches at each other.
In the end, Billy went into business with Hap, but their deal ended up being a bust. Meanwhile, Cody went into a food truck business with Kess, his wife and Finn. Wick got a call from Garry who was arrested and he told Wick to get him out of jail or else he will tell everyone about his involvement.
"Blood and Oil" airs every Sunday.
