'Bloodborne Game of the Year Edition' Release Date Announced, Exclusive Only to PS4

Fans of the action role-playing video game "Bloodborne" will be delighted to know that another version of it is coming very soon. According to Tech News Today, Sony recently announced in the PlayStation blog website that "Bloodborne Game of the Year Edition" will be made available beginning Nov. 27, 2015. However, the title will be exclusive only to PlayStation 4. This means that it will not be made available for Microsoft's Xbox One owners.

And it seems like this edition is really something to look forward to as Metro UK wrote that the title "Game of the Year Edition" couldn't be more accurate for the game despite the fact that such label is mostly just a "meaningless marketing term." The site also mentioned that the game is one of the best video games of all time.

Polygon noted that the special package will contain both the original game as well as its first expansion, "The Old Hunters." It can be remembered that the "Game of the Year Edition" was first mentioned alongside the expansion during the Tokyo Game Show.

"The Old Hunters" will arrive separately on Nov. 24 worldwide and will include new weapons and environments. There will also be access to new outfits and weapons to strengthen the gamer's beast-battling arsenal. The new ranged weapon dubbed as Simon's Bowblade will be introduced. The expansion pack will also bring a new offer which will let players have the ability to go native and turn into petrifying beasts. They will be able to explore new locations as a beast, destroying almost everything that comes their way.

A picture of the official box art has already been released but it did not show any details on any additional extras. The price of "Bloodborne Game of the Year Edition" has not been announced yet but "The Old Hunters" will cost £11.99.
