'Bloodline' season 2 finale opens with John (Kyle Chandler) and Diana (Jacinda Barrett) on the beach. They realize that Eric O'Bannon (Jamie McShane) was there when John killed Danny (Ben Mendelsohn). John knows that everything is not looking good but implies to Diana that everything will be alright.
The Rayburns
The family is fierce in protecting each other so to justify their actions. They have been drug dealing, accepting bribes and even to the extent of murder. Now, because of everything that happened, all they can do is protect their individual families. Kevin (Norbert Leo Butz) needs to take care of Belle (Katie Finneran) and his future son. John Rayburn's only concern is that Diana and their children will be safe. Meg (Linda Cardellini) on the other hand has no one to turn to except for her mother Sally (Sissy Spaceck). This is why she ran to Sally in the end, and she needs to do it in her favor.

John casually drives away and ignores Diana's calls, Meg's hangs out with Sally. Marco (Enrique Murciano) on the other hand is not so surprised with the information he got and tells Keven that he, Meg and John will all be going to prison. Just like that, Kevin grabs a dolphin figure and beats Marco to death.
Meg is now crying in her mother's arms, ghost Danny is sitting with John on the passenger seat while John runs away. Marco is now dead and O'Dirtbag does not have a car.
Where does the finale lead us to? Will season 3 give us more answers to how the Rayburns will be?
What To Expect
It is reported that a third season of the series is possible though there is no specific date as of yet. As for Glenn Kessler, Danny Rayburn (Ben Mendelsohn) should be coming back in the third season. He noted that they never want to go far with the murder of Danny and the influence he has on his family.
So the third installment should be out by 2017 and the intense drama of the Rayburn family should have 10 episodes. The original cast also is confirmed to be back next year. The cast include, Kyle Chandler, Ben Mendelsohn, Sissy Spacek and Linda Cardellini.
It is a question for viewers still on what the Rayburns may be up to and are there more skeletons in their closet to reveal?
