'Blue Bloods' Season 6 Episode 20 Spoilers: Danny's Hunt For Serial Killer Thomas Wilder Intensifies
CBS' hit police procedural drama TV series "Blue Bloods" Season 6 returns this week with a brand new episode that could find Danny Reagan taking his job a little bit more personal as his crusade against serial killer Thomas Wilder intensifies.
According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the episode titled "Down The Rabbit Hole," Danny will get wind of another murder case tied to Wilder. What makes the act even more blood-boiling for the police officer is the fact that he attaches a taunting message.
In the promo video posted on Spoilers Guide shows Wilder doing the thing and even calling Danny on the phone.
"Hello again, detective," was Wilder's opening line.
Avid viewers may remember Wilder appearing on Episode 8 "Unsung Heroes," where the entire NYPD went to a high alert status following the string of murders committed by the psychotic man. What makes the situation even worse between the cop and the criminal is the fact that he went on to threaten the safety of Danny's family. One thing led to another and his marriage with Linda even got affected.
Wilder's return, meanwhile, is teased to bring forth a whole new host of predicaments that will surely put Danny on the edge of his sanity.
In the clip, he went on to tell Reagan that they "will be inextricably linked together…a serial killer and a cop."
"I'm never leaving the inside of your head," he said over the phone.
Tragic scenes then followed to show Danny's niece, Nicky, being taken as a hostage. This means that the crisis will now call on the entire Reagan clan to take action.
"I just want my granddaughter back," Commissioner Frank Reagan, who appears to be clearly worried of Erin's daughter, said.
If the hints from the video will be taken into account, then this episode could be the final showdown between Danny and Wilder.
Find out how these events unfold when "Blue Bloods" Season 6 Episode 20 premieres this Friday, Apr. 15 on CBS.
