'Blue Bloods' season 6 plot news: Begins with 'Worst-Case Scenario'

It was reported that the return of "Blue Bloods" will see an interesting beginning.

The premiere episode of "Blue Bloods" season 6 is titled "Worst-Case Scenario." It was reported by Spoilers Guide that Danny, played by Donnie Wahlberg, and Baez, played by Marisa Ramirez, will involve himself with a dangerous serial killer.

The episode is expected to begin with a serial killer sending messages to Danny, implying that he is next in line. With that, he and Baez team up, in order to get to the serial killer before the damage is done.
Meanwhile, Frank, played by Tom Selleck, will be handling the threat of a terrorist attack. With a tragic event happening abroad, it was speculated that New York will be the next target for a terrorist attack. Even with several precautions and plans on handling a terrorist attack, Frank will be left to make sure that the plans are secure and foolproof.

However, he will also be dealing with a scandal involving a mayoral candidate. It was reported that Frank will be accused of corruption. According to Carter Matt, this issue will surely affect his whole family since they are involved with politics, as well.

The synopsis reads, "In the sixth-season opener, a terrorist attack occurs in the Middle East and Frank fears that New York City may be hit next."

The second episode of season 6 is titled "Absolute Power." The synopsis reveals that more trouble is expected to follow the group. It reads, "A possible serial-killer case is assigned to Danny and Baez. Meanwhile, Erin considers becoming a judge; a mayoral candidate claims that Frank has been secretly investigating her spouse; and Eddie confronts her dad when he turns up in the hospital."

"Blue Bloods" season 6 will air this Sept. 25 on CBS.
