New challenges await the Reagans in the second episode of "Blue Bloods" Season 7. The premiere episode was an emotionally harrowing experience for them as Danny faced a grand jury investigation that produced some damning evidence which could have gotten him convicted. This is in connection with Danny's fatal encounter with a serial killer last season.
Emotionally charged premiere
In the premiere episode of "Blue Bloods" Season 7, Frank (Tom Selleck) was asked by his old friend who was terrified that she would lose her police cadet son the way she lost her husband who was a slain police officer. The poor woman asked Frank to do whatever it takes to prevent her son from being a cop.

Within this episode of "Blue Bloods" Season 7, Frank initially thought that Louis Edwards (David Castro) joined the academy to follow in his father's footsteps and that he wanted to honor his memory. He couldn't have been further from the truth. Louis told Frank, who has acted as a surrogate father to him, that it was actually him who inspired him to be a policeman.
When Frank heard this, he knew he couldn't simply have Louis kicked out of the police academy simply because of his mother's fears. Louis' mother was enraged with Frank after he declined to do what she asked of him.

The eldest Reagan child Danny will feel extremely bothered over an innocent woman who gets attacked and gets killed by a stray bullet in her own home in the new episode of "Blue Bloods" Season 7. Together with Baez, they will delve further into her death.
Suzanne Shepherd, from the movie "Goodfellows", will guest star as the woman named Lucille Abetemarco. Meanwhile, Erin Reagan-Boyle (Bridget Moynahan) decides to provide legal help to her detective Anthony Renzulli (Nicholas Turturro) in a case that is personal to him.

In a sneak peek of the episode, it appears that more danger seems to be waiting in "Blue Bloods" Season 7. The voice over says that a neighborhood is under siege and Danny is right in the middle of it. The new "Blue Bloods" Season 7 episode will air on September 30 on CBS. It is titled "Good Cop Bad Cop".
