Bobbi Kristina Brown Cause of Death Latest News: Medical Examiners Determine Cause, But Results Remain Secret

Officials say the cause of death of Bobbi Kristina Brown, internationally acclaimed singer Whitney Houston's only daughter, has now been determined but the results of the post-mortem tests will not be released publicly.

A U.S. court in the state of Georgia has ordered a medical examiner assigned in the case to put a seal on the results.

While Whitney Houston was found unresponsive in a bathtub in 2012, her daughter was found unconscious in a bathtub in her Atlanta home earlier this year and later died in hospice care on July 26, six months later.

The 22-year-old daughter of Houston and Bobby Brown had been striving for her own music career and was known for her controversial relationship with Nick Gordon, who has been under fire since news of Brown's eerie discovery in the bath surfaced.

In a press release on September 25, the Fulton County Medical Examiner said, "The Fulton Medical Examiner has classified the cause and manner of Bobbi Kristina Brown's death. However, a Fulton County Superior Court Order dated September 25, 2015 has been received Sealing the Autopsy Report and ordering the Medical Examiner to not release any further information to the public."

According to CNN, Brown's estate has earlier filed a $10 million wrongful death lawsuit against Gordon, alleging that he had physically violated Brown after a night of "cocaine and drinking binge," then later giving her a "toxic cocktail" which rendered Brown unconscious.

As yet, Gordon has not been charged in any way related to Brown's death.

Brown started performing onstage with her mother in 1999, where the two were seen singing duets of "My Love is Your Love." The mother-daughter tandem have also recorded a version of "Little Drummer Boy" for a holiday album released in 2003.

She was buried beside her mother in August at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey, wherein multiple reports stated that the ceremony was filled with family drama.
