'Bones' season 11 spoilers, plot news: New assistant will cause tension between Angela and Hodgkins
Season 11 of "Bones" is expected to premiere this week, which will introduce a new character.
It was reported that Angela will receive a new assistant. According to TV Line, her new handsome assistant will cause some tension between Angela and Hodgkins. With that, it was reported by Jonathan Collier that the upcoming season will put the two of them for an interesting ride.
He explained that later into the season, they will both experience change in their lives. However, the beginning of the season will have its own set of troubles. It was reported that Agent Booth will be missing in the premiere of season 11. Because of that, Dr. Brennan will have to return to the Jeffersonian, in order to have them help find her husband. To assist in the investigation, it was reported that another new character will be leading the group. The investigation will lead to the discovery of Booth's remains and belongings. However, Brennan will remain hopeful for the fate of her husband.
Fans have nothing to worry about since even David Boreanaz confirmed his return to the series. As reported by TV Line, Boreanaz expressed, "I'm happy to say that I'm now feeling great and will be back to work tomorrow, and that our 11th season premiere will broadcast on schedule — with me in it."
Another exciting event that will take place in the upcoming season of "Bones" is the crossover of the series with "Sleepy Hollow." It was announced by FOX that a Halloween special will take place, featuring "Bones" and "Sleepy Hollow." It stated that Booth and Brennan will be doing an investigation on human remains that will lead them to Ichabod Crane and Abbie Mills. They will team up to crack the case together. The executive producer of the series, Clifton Campbell, shared some sentiments about the upcoming crossover. He said, "The creative freedom to merge these two worlds which, at face value, seem so different; but at their core have such striking similarities — mystery, intrigue, and methodical deduction, wrapped up in such strong character partnerships."
