Confirmed by Michael Peterson, the two women will not get along for the season to come. Dr. Brennan will not be the only one frustrated with Miller. The rest of the team will also face some problems regarding the new lead as she is expected to break protocol and offend others.

According to TV Guide, executive producer Michael Peterson stated, "She (Miller) is sort of the impartial view. She doesn't know what Booth has gotten himself into. Has he done something unlawful, or is he the victim? She doesn't know and she doesn't care. They [Miller and Brennan] absolutely clash. We have two strong, intelligent women and we let them go head-to-head."

There were several speculations on the reason for Booth's disappearance. There were some rumors stating that Jared Booth, played by Brendan Fehr, is somewhat related to the situation. With that, his disappearance is also expected to instigate changes in the dynamics of the show. James Aubrey, played by John Boyd, is expected to try and lead the office. He will spend the season trying to take over Booth's workload. Peterson added, "Aubrey is in a place of new power. With Booth gone for six months, he's really shown off what an incredible agent he is on his own. He's taken over Booth's office."

Bones season 11 is expected to air on Oct. 1.
