Dortmund leads 4-3 on aggregate.
With only one match between them and the UEFA Europa League group stages, Borussia Dortmund and Odd clash at Signal Iduna Park in the second leg of their play-off battle.
The match is on August 27, 2015 at 2:30 PM ET.
Whoever wins the tie will secure a spot in the main competition and as it currently stands, Borussia Dortmund hold a 4-3 aggregate lead.
Their first meeting at Skagerak Arena was an epic battle, with Odd starting off well – only to be throttled by an impressive comeback by the German club.
Jone Samuelsen caught Dortmund off-guard early in the match and scored in the second minute of the game to give the hosts the lead.
In the 20th minute, Fredrik Nordkvelle doubled the lead with a goal after an assist by Chukwuma Akabueze.
And only two minutes later, it was already 3-0 after Espen Ruud hit his own goal – things were certainly looking like a one-way event at Skien.
Fortunately for the German club, Pierre Aubameyang got one goal back in the 34th minute to cut the deficit to two goals heading into the second half.
When the second frame started, it was Dortmund's turn to go on the attack, with Shinji Kagawa finding the back of the net only two minutes after the restart to cut the lead down to one goal.
Dortmund kept on pressing and they were given their third goal when Aubameyang scored his brace in the 76th minute of the match to tie it at 3-3.
And with only five minutes left in the match, Henrikh Mkhitaryan completed the resurgence with a goal behind an assist by Kagawa to give Dortmund the 4-3 lead. They would hold on to take the hard-fought victory away from home and are now poised to close things out as hosts.
For Odd, they still have a chance but they must learn to keep pressuring Dortmund to concede early goals.
