'Boruto: Naruto Next Generations' Spoilers: Opening, Closing Themes and More Revealed

As the premiere of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" draws closer, more information about the "Naruto" spinoff comes to light. The latest details about the series are about the theme songs fans will hear when they watch the anime.

Japanese band KANA-BOON will perform the opening theme titled "Baton Road." For those who do not know, KANA-BOON is the same group behind the official "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" theme song.

KANA-BOON has the stamp of approval of "Naruto" creator himself, Masashi Kishimoto. He was the one who personally picked the band to perform for the movie.

Apart from the "Boruto" movie, KANA-BOON also performed "Silhouette," one of the openings for the "Naruto Shippuden" anime, and "Spiral," the song that fans hear when they start "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4."

After the group opens "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" with "Baton Road," the Japanese girl group The Peggies will handle the ending theme.

The episodes of the anime will end with their rendition of "Dreamy Journey." Unlike KANA-BOON, this will be the first "Naruto" gig for The Peggies.

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" will premiere on Wednesday, April 5, on TV Tokyo so fans can look forward to more information about the anime. The series will be based on the anime of the same name, which, in turn, was inspired from "Boruto: Naruto the Movie."

The spinoff will feature Naruto's son, Boruto, and his adventures with his friends. Adult versions of Naruto and Sasuke will appear in "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations," but the focus will be on the young Uzumaki.

Speaking about the anime to Weekly Shonen Jump last month, chief director Noriyuki Abe said, "I've inherited the epic tale of Naruto and the souls of its gigantic cast of characters and at the same time I awakened myself to this new era and this new protagonist's story."

"This is honestly very difficult, but at the same time it's worth the effort. I'm getting numb. The entire staff is mobilized to make this interesting and fun. You can expect great things. I will never betray my fellow Naruto fans, of course," he went on to say.
