Boston Celtics vs New York Knicks Live Stream: Watch NBA 2015 Preseason Basketball
Two storied Eastern Conference teams collide.
Eastern Conference teams clash as the Boston Celtics host the New York Knicks at the TD Garden in the National Basketball Association preseason.
The match is on October 22, 2015 at 7:30 PM ET.
At the moment, the Knicks have played four preseason games and have won three, while the Celtics have played three and won two.
Both teams are not challenging for titles anytime soon but are hoping to at least make progress from their previous year.
The Celtics have added a few pieces to their line-up that will hopefully make them stronger and a sleeper team in the Eastern Conference to make the playoffs.
One of their biggest additions during the summer was David Lee as the former Golden State Warrior is coming to Boston after winning a title with the Warriors.
Young guards Marcus Smart, Avery Bradley and Isaiah Thomas are still focal points of the team but now they have an added threat on the power forwards position.
So far, their preseason wins have been against the Brooklyn Nets in two occasions and their loss was against the Knicks.
Meanwhile, the Knicks gave Carmelo Anthony new players to co-exist with as Arron Afflalo, Robin Lopez and Derrick Williams have all moved to the Big Apple, while rookie Kristaps Porzingis has a lot to prove after being drafted high in the 2015 class.
So far, things have worked out in the preseason as the Knicks have won three of their four games so far.
Against the Celtics in their earlier game, Williams led the team as he scored 19 points in 27 minutes on the floor. Kyle O'Quinn secured a double-double in the game with 13 points and 11 rebounds so far.
On the other side, Bradley had a decent game with seven points, but he picked up eight rebounds and three assists in the loss.
With the regular season nearing, expect the starters to play more minutes.
