Bouncy House Bear Fall: Bear Lands on Child's Party Toy? (VIDEO)
Foster the bear has been retrieved from a local neighborhood tree, after going on a city adventure that ended at a child's party bouncing machine.
Foster is a big black bear that found himself in a difficult position after taking a city trip that went awry. The bear climbed up two different Arkansas City trees before having to be forced down by officials who wooed the bear with two bouncing machines.
The bear was named after the street where he was found, after climbing up a tree in the residential neighborhood. Whether Foster just really liked it up there in that tree or just really didn't like the people down below it remains unknown, but officials apparently could not get the bear to remove himself from the tree, according to the Associate Press.

The alternative? The best idea officials could come up with was to rent two bouncing machines from a party rental, which were placed below the tree just in case Foster should fall. Only Foster didn't fall.
Authorities were forced to consider the alternatives. The decision was made that Foster would be shot with a tranquilizer, in hopes that he would fall asleep, fall out of the tree, and land on one of the bouncy machines below. Only Foster wouldn't fall asleep.
"He would slide to one side, and we're like, 'Oh, oh, oh, he's going to come down, he's going to come down,' " Conway police spokeswoman La Tresha Woodruff told AP News. "And then he'd balance himself again."
In fact, the bear balanced himself so well that when he did finally fall asleep, but he still didn't fall out of the tree. As a last resort the fire department appeared on the scene to hose the sleeping bear out of the tree in hopes that Foster would fall, landing on one of the bouncing machines.
And this time Foster did fall, only he missed the bouncing machine and landed somewhere in between the two. Everything's all right though; Foster is fine now and will be taken back to his more conventional home in the forest where there are plenty more trees to climb. Surprisingly, this is not the first time that a bear has been shot out of a tree with a tranquilizer and made to fall on a bouncing object below. Of course the other bears didn't miss their target.
