Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston News: Tell-All Documentary to Reveal Angelina Jolie's Insecurity Over Aniston?
Filmmaker and investigative journalist Ian Halperin will be dropping a tell-all documentary about estranged Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
Titled "Broken: The Incredible Story of Brangelina," Halperin's documentary will reportedly reveal secrets and show never-before-seen footage of Pitt and Jolie as a couple.
Pitt, 53, and Jolie, 41, met one another while filming the movie "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" in 2005 and began an affair. At the time, the actor was still married to then-wife Jennifer Aniston, but Halperin has stated that Aniston and Pitt were already estranged months before he got involved with Jolie.
Although Pitt chose to be with Jolie, Halperin claimed that the actress was still worried and insecure over Aniston, afraid that the actor would choose to rekindle his relationship with his ex-wife. Jolie allegedly pleaded with Pitt to cut all contact with his ex-wife.
"I truly believe that Angie always harbored the fear that Brad and Jen were secretly in contact and might reconnect," Halperin told Star magazine.
"Angie is quite jealous and insecure," an insider told Hollywood Life. "She really wanted Brad to distance himself from Jen completely after he left her. No matter how much Brad assured her, Angie, deep down, always feared he would go back to Jen."
Though Jolie filed for divorce in September of last year, the mother-of-six is reportedly not pleased with reports that Pitt and Aniston are recently back on speaking terms and have been exchanging friendly text messages with each other.
"It stings for Angelina to know that Brad still thinks about Jen and wants to stay connected to her," a source explained to Hollywood Life.
Halperin also revealed that Pitt and Jolie allegedly decided to dissolve their marriage long before the actress made the public announcement that she was divorcing her husband. Rumors of their separation began swirling in 2015, following the filming of the movie "By the Sea," in which the former couple portrayed a volatile married couple on-screen.
Halperin also mentioned that the "Allied" actor and "Maleficent" star were never really compatible, claiming that the relationship between the two was doomed to fail.
