'League of Legends' Hunt of the Blood Moon Guide: How to Breeze Through Special Mode In New Update

Players of "League of Legends" can now easily boost their standing by mastering the "Hunt of the Blood Moon," the special mode included in the latest update for the multiplayer online battle arena video game by Riot Games.

Patch 7.3 recently ushered in the game's Blood Moon event set to run on Feb. 10 to 14 (for the first week) and Feb. 17 to 21 (for the second week). During the event, players can participate by trying out the Summoner's Rift's new mode, "Hunt of the Blood Moon," and get the chance to win a new assortment of skins and other collectibles. They can also stack up on Riot Points by skillfully teaming up five of the assassin characters and winning the game. Some of the champions gamers can choose from are Ahri, Camille, Elise and Kassadin. Pantheon, Talon and Zed are also part of the list.

According to Dot Esports, there are several sure ways to win. To earn the Blood Moon's blessing, teams must "sacrifice" characters. Those who will be blessed will be awarded demonic powers.

For each sacrifice, a point will be given. The first group to get 300 points will emerge as the victor. The more a player wins, the better his chances will be in the rankings in "League of Legends." Killing a champion will net the gamer five points.

Meanwhile, killing a Spirit of the Blood Moon will earn him three points. These spirits will randomly appear in the jungle lanes, so players should always be on the lookout. Thirty points will be awarded for those who can kill Demon Heralds spawns. To get the Demon Brand, players need to kill three opponents without dying. The rewards are more speed and invisibility for 45 seconds, enough to render huge damage to the enemy.

According to iDigital Times, the most powerful champions in "Hunt Of The Blood Moon" are Shaco, Leblanc, Rengar and Kha'Zix. Picking them in the team will reportedly usher in better results.
