Bride Found Dead in Bathtub, Killed for Spilling Secret? (VIDEO)

Chicago police have issued a warrant for Arnoldo Jiminez, who is suspected to have murdered his new bride only hours after their wedding took place.

Estrella Carrera was found Sunday in Burbank, Illinois. The 26-year-old woman was wearing a sparkling, silver sequenced dress that was believed to be her wedding gown, and she had apparently been stabbed to death.

On Friday, Carrera and Jiminez made the unexpected decision to get married. According to police, it is believed that Carrera was instructed by Jimenez to keep the wedding a secret. Police believe that an argument between the couple broke out after Jimenez discovered that Carrera had told her father about their marriage.

Carrera had dropped her 8-year-old and 2-year-old off at her father's house before going off to marry Jimenez, the father of her youngest son.

Her family reported that Carrera was last seen Saturday morning at 2 a.m. They became suspicious when the woman had not checked in on her two children and could not be reached.

"She didn't want to tell me she had gotten married," Sandy Lopez, Carrera's cousin, told The Boston Herald. "She didn't tell anybody."
Lopez admitted that she didn't not agree with Carrera's decision to stay in a relationship with the 30-year-old man because the couple had gone through problems in the past.

"He's just a person who had problems," Lopez said adding her admiration for her cousin. "She was a beautiful mother, person, sister."

Police are now on the search for the 6-foot, 220-pound Jimenez who they believe may have skipped town driving a 2006 black Maserati. Authorities have been able to find no job record for Jimenez, which has raised some questions as to how the suspect was able to afford such an expensive car. Police believe Jimenez may have gone out of the metropolitan area or perhaps even have left the state.

"We never thought this would happen, she was a strong woman ... she loved her kids," Lopez told the Herald. "Reality still hasn't hit me."
