Brody Jenner Defends Father Bruce's Marriage to Kris: 'They Haven't Split'

Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner is reportedly not separated from her husband, Bruce, despite their unusual living situation, her stepson Brody Jenner recently confirmed.

In recent weeks Kris' sister, Karen Houghton, fueled divorce speculation when she told a US tabloid that the mother of six was separated from her former Olympian husband and that he had "sought out a lawyer," InTouch magazine reported.

Brody however confirmed that while Kris, 57, and Bruce, 63, are no longer living together, they are still happily married. The reality TV star, 30, had defended the couple's marriage prior to Houghton speaking out.

"I stay out of their business, but as far as I'm concerned, they haven't split up. Dad's been in Malibu — he grew up out here — and the press has made a big deal of it," Brody told NOW magazine UK adding that their living situation has "nothing to do with them breaking up."

On a previous episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" viewers saw Bruce, who has been married to Kris for 22 years, move out of the couple's marital home in a bid to have his own space. He reportedly relocated to his Malibu beach house after Kris' daughter Kim Kardashian moved in with baby North and rapper Kanye West.

"[He] decided to ditch the family home because he was constantly being told to be quiet because of baby Nori," a source told RadarOnline.com.

"Bruce was unable to have his friends over to fly their remote controlled helicopters in the backyard because of concerns of noise," the source explained.

The move sparked reports of a divorce however like Brody did, Kris' daughter Khloe defended her parents' marriage.

"They're not having problems, but they still like to live apart, which is definitely different," Khloe told talk show host Jay Leno in June.

"You know, Bruce and my mom, they wanted some... In my house there is a man room for Lamar. A room, not a different house. So I think they took my idea and ran with it," she continued. "They got another house and Bruce stays there sometimes."
