'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Season 5 Spoilers: Jake and Terry Go Undercover; Holt Rediscovers His Gambling Addiction

The upcoming episode of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 5 will see Jake (Andy Samberg) and Terry (Terry Crews) going undercover.

The synopsis of the next episode, titled "Bad Beat," states that Jake and Terry will be after an arms dealer named Dan "Daniel" Valdano (guest star David Figlioli). In order to get to him, they will go undercover at an illegal gambling club. Holt (Andre Braugher) will teach Jake and Terry how to play poker, but the decision will prove to be a bad one as it reignites Holt's addiction.

At the precinct, Hitchcock (Dirk Blocker) and Scully (Joel McKinnon Miller) will challenge Rosa (Stephanie Beatriz) to a game of "Butt-lympics," while Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio) will purchase a food truck that has a terrible history of murders. However, he will not tell Amy (Melissa Fumero), his investor, about the truck.

A teaser trailer for the new episode has also been released. It opens with Jake, donning a hoodie and sunglasses, playing poker. In Holt's office, he tells Jake and Terry that they are "both terrible" at the game.

"You don't even know the terminology," Holt points out to his subordinates, to which Jake replies with a bunch of terms from other games like Black Jack, Craps, and Go Fish.

The previous episode of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 5, titled "HalloVeen," saw the gang competing for the title of "Amazing Human/Genius" during their annual Halloween heist. But, the heist was compromised when Jake orchestrated for Amy to win so that he could propose to her.

Fans are definitely excited to see another wedding episode, and it looks like they will not have to wait very long for it. As previously reported, co-creator Dan Goor revealed that the wedding will take place sometime this year, though a concrete date has yet to be determined.

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 5 airs Tuesdays, at 9:30 p.m. on FOX.
