Bryce Dejean Jones Death Caused by Gunshot Wound; New Orleans Pelicans Guard Bled to Death – Report
Bryce Dejean Jones who played guard for the New Orleans Pelicans NBA basketball has died according to multiple reports.
While no official report has yet been released to the caused of the death, The Vertical's Shams Charania on Yahoo tweeted that the Los Angeles-area native suffered from a gun shot wound to the stomach Friday night and ultimately bled to death.
Dejean Jones was in Dallas County when he was shot and the Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office did confirm the death according to FoxSports.

In college basketball, Dejean Jones played for three schools – USC (2010-2011), UNLV (2012-2014) and Iowa State (2014-2015).
NBA Career
Dejean Jones entered the NBA undrafted after the Pelicans signed him to their roster on a 10-day contract on January 21, 2016 and then resigned him for a second 10-day contract on February 1. After showing explosive and effective performance, the Pelicans signed him for a 3-year contract. In total he played 14 games with the Pelicans averaging 5.6 points per game and 3.4 rebounds per game.
He was 23 years of age.
