'Bull' Season 2 Spoilers: Benny's Religious Beliefs to Be Put to the Test; 'The Good Wife' Alum to Guest Star in November
"Bull" has finally returned to the small screen for its sophomore season and fans could expect that there will be more interesting cases this time around.
During the premiere, Dr. Jason Bull (Michael Weatherly) squared off against Diana Lindsay (Jill Flint), his on-and-off love interest on the show. They were on opposing sides of a case that involved the possible murder of a billionaire by his much younger wife.
Kara Clayton (Minka Kelly), the accused wife, who studied human anatomy, stabbed herself three times in the right places. She thought she would get away with it by lying and making it look like her husband came for her first. However, in the end, it was proven that she was indeed guilty, and Bull won the case.
When the series returns for another episode next week, spoilers say that Bull will impulsively agree to have Trial Analysis Corporation's (TAC) in-house counsel Benny Colon (Freddy Rodriguez) represent a young man named Adam Harris, who has been charged with murder for assisting his terminally ill girlfriend in killing herself.
Obviously clashing with Benny's religious beliefs, it will be interesting to see how this will all turn out in "Bull" season 2 episode 2 titled "Already Gone."
Meanwhile, another thing that fans could look forward to this season is the guest appearance of "The Good Wife" alum Archie Panjabi.
She will play the role of Arti Cander, a British trial scientist who is just as good as Bull. According to Entertainment Weekly, her official logline says: "Bull meets his match in the Oxford-educated Cander, a successful former D.C. lobbyist who's more than a worthy adversary for him. She knows how to read a jury as well as he does, and is ready to prove to everyone that Bull isn't the only trial scientist in town."
The episode featuring Panjabi will air in November. However, the plot is yet to be revealed.
"Bull" season 2 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
