Calgary Flames vs Anaheim Ducks: Live Stream, Start Time, Watch NHL Stanley Cup Online
Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinal match between the Anaheim Ducks and the Calgary Flames will be at the Scotiabank Saddledome. The NHL Stanley Cup game will be on May 8, 2015 at 9:30 p.m. ET.
Anaheim looked like they were clearly a notch above the Flames in the first two games of the match, winning with a combined score of 9-1.
Both matches were played in California, so when the scene moved to Calgary, few would have predicted that the Flames would have much left to offer. However, they had more than enough to offer as they notched their first win of the series after a tough battle against Anaheim.
Calgary scored first in Game 3 behind Barndon Bollig's shot in the 2:07 mark of the first period. Unfortunately, they were unable to hold on to the lead as two goals in the same period for Anaheim gave them the advantage after the first.
Patrick Maroon scored five minutes after Bollig's shot, and Corey Perry scored in the 15th minute to turn things around for the Ducks. In the second period, the two teams traded goals again as Joe Colborne tied the game with a short-handed goal in the 5th minute of the match, only to be erased by Matt Beleskey's goal four minutes later. Things remained 3-2 in favor of Anaheim for most of the match until the final 20 seconds of the game when Johnny Gaudreau made the most of their power-play with a goal that tied the game and sent it to overtime.
With a new lease in the game, the Flames took advantage of a shell-shocked Ducks squad and Mikael Backlund scored in the 4:24 mark of the first overtime to give them the win and cut the series deficit to just one game.
Calgary must build on the victory and win this home game to level the series. For scores and updates on this match, go to NHL.com. For live streaming, click here.
