'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare' News: Players to Get XP Bonus for Gear Sets, More Royalty Weapon Variants Coming for Xbox One
Good news for gamers of the "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" video game -- they can get more XP bonus if they load up on complete gear sets. As for gamers on the Xbox One, another set of Royal Weapons are coming to the game starting June 23.
According to a report in Tech Times, the way to earn more XP bonus in the game is by equipping their game characters with complete or full gear sets. This is applicable across all platforms -- so long as a character is wearing a full gear set, players can earn as much as five percent higher XP while they are playing the game. Higher XP, especially in role-playing games such as "Call of Duty" can go a long way especially when it comes of measuring a player's progression.
The reason behind this incentive or reward to players, according to Sledgehammer Games' official blog is to reward players' creativity and originality as shown in the game's Virtual Lobby, which has been "awesome." They added, "That said, we've always wanted to implement a system that gives you the incentive to collect a full #AWGearSet and rewards you for collecting the set with a special in-game bonus in the form of XP." Players are therefore encouraged to get more complete gear sets to avail of the XP bonues.
Xbox One users of the game also have something to look forward to. A second set of Royal Weapon Variants will be available exclusively to the console starting June 23. This is apparently a second version of Royal Weapon Variants. The first version was announced and released last month, which included at least 12 weapons. The second set, according to the game's developer is described as follows:
"This second set of Royalty Elite Weapon Variants has the same purple and gun-metal camouflage that matches the Grand Master Prestige gear, and this set of variants features a different stat change from the first set."
Royal Weapons offer players an edge over those players who only have Elite Weapons. These batch of Royal Weapons will also feature faster reloading speeds than the first batch of Royal Weapons. Starting June 23, Royal Weapons Variants version 2 will land in-game via Supply Drops and Advanced Supply Drops.
