'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' Double XP Weekend to Conclude on Dec. 14

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" Double XP weekend, which began on Friday, will conclude on Dec. 14 at 1 p.m. EST.

Under the said promo, all owners of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will be able to get Double XP every time they participate in online multiplayer matches. Double XP is also live on all platforms and for both zombies and multiplayer, according to Tech Times.

In a Twitter post on Dec. 11, Treyarch Studios announced that it will take down the Chaos Moshpit playlist and put up the Nuketown only playlist while the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" Double XP is live.

The Double XP weekend will give gamers faster level up time. Since the latest update modified around 19 weapons, gamers are advised to adjust their play style or load out to anticipate the outcome, the report details.

Treyarch design director David Vonderhaar also posted a series of tweets enumerating the changes made to "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3." These changes include tuning edits for small weapons and tuning changes before the CWL online qualifiers, the report relays.

In addition, Vonderhaar said locking on as Streaks in the play space and going idle in a game to collect Crypto keys will be prevented, the report adds.

Meanwhile, the first DLC for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will be released on Jan. 26, 2016 for PlayStation 4. The DLC Map Pack will also be made available for Xbox One and PC on Feb. 25, 2016, Crossmap reports, citing information from Video Games Blogger.

Activision, the game's publisher, confirmed that they will release four DLC Map Packs next year. If the information on VideoGamesBlogger.com is to be believed, then the DLC Map Packs will be released from January to September next year. Treyarch urged "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" owners to take advantage of the $50 season pass.
