'Call of Duty: Black Ops III' Has The Biggest Zombie Mode Ever
Fan favourites, the Zombies, are back in "Call of Duty: Black Ops III." The trailer for the pre-bonus map showcasing the "The Giant Zombie Mode" set in the fictional town of Morg has been released by Activision and Treyarch online. The new zombie mode "Shadows of Evil" has a separate storyline that is set in the fictional Morg City of the '40s with four characters - the boxer, the femme fatale, the detective and the magician.
The first map for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's" incarnation, "Shadow Of Evil," is a huge nightmare with a twist for gamers wanting something exciting. This map has a '40s-era noir setting. It's all there for gamers - burlesque strip clubs, a magician's workshop, plus the '40s staple – huge, empty dimly lit docks, filled with Zombies.
Producer Jason Blundell stated in the Official Xbox Magazine. "It's the biggest Zombies map we've ever done. It's large in terms of complexity, but also in verticality – there are so many ways to move around the city. Canals, scaffolding... there's even a tram transit system".
Basically a reimagining of the classic Der Riese map, "The Giant Zombie Mode" will have the game characters, Dempsey, Nikolai, Takeo and Richthofen fighting the supreme evil and trying to get back to their homes and families.
The trailer shows the four characters encountering hordes of Zombies, more formidable than the previous games. They simply don't die, whatever the characters do or try. Towards the end of the trailer, it is revealed that there is another way to down these hordes.
The trailer shows campaign mode, where players must fight their way against the background of a new Cold War to find their missing brothers.
Gamers can play solo or on multiplayer mode that features a new momentum-based chained movement system. The game is smoother because of this factor and players can experience fluidity of motion using controlled thrust jumps, slides and mantling.
Gamers will be happy to know that "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" multiplayer mode has a nine-specialist character system, and gamers can master these nine characters who have their own backstory and are battle-hardened veterans with fantastic weapons and abilities. Gamers will have to go through a challenge-based unlock progression system for this.
