Combat Rigs
"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" publisher Activision has already released several game details regarding the beta. The company has stated that the game will include Combat rigs and multiplayer maps. The beta will allow players to use three of the six available Combat Rigs. These are specialized suits that offer the players unique tactical advantages.
Each of the Rigs will come with a Payload. These are weapons that could boost the Rig. There are also Traits, the passive abilities that are effective for the whole match. The three rigs coming to the open beta of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" are The Warfighter, The Merc, and The Synaptic.
The Warfighter Rig is designed for mid-range gun battles. It comes with the Claw, Combat Focus, and Overdrive Payloads. The Merc Rig is then built for heavy defense. It comes with Steel Dragon and Bull Charge Payloads. Lastly, the Synaptic Rig is perfect for close combat. It has Payloads that allow players to undo their position and refill their health and ammo.
Maps and Other Gameplay Details
There would also be three maps in the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" beta. The Frontier map is set on a space station filled with heart-pounding gunfights. Frost map is set on a research station in one of Jupiter's moons. It allows the players to coordinate methodically to put down their adversary. Throwback map then takes place in a 1950s space station.
The "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" beta will be featuring four game modes. The usual Deathmatch, Domination, and Kill Confirmed would all make their return. The new game mode, Defender, will oblige the players to pick up a drone and defend it.
There would also be Mission Teams in the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" open beta. These will allow players to gain team ranks through accomplishing missions. There would also be rewards that include Rig cosmetics, cards, and emblems.
