Upcoming 'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare' patch contains fixes for numerous weapons

A new patch is expected to be released soon for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," and among the changes it brings are ones specifically meant to improve how weapons work inside the game.

Developers listed the changes included in the upcoming patch in a new post on the r/InfiniteWarfare Subreddit.

Examples of the changes include the aiming down the sights - also known as ADS - time of the DMR being decreased, while the ADS recoil has been hiked up slightly for the NV4.

Next up, the four-bullet hit kill range for the KBAR has been decreased a bit, and on the opposite end of the spectrum, the three-bullet hit kill range for the Volk has been increased.

The Widowmaker should also be able to fire off more bullets whenever it is used inside the game, and the Type 2 in AR mode has been buffed up significantly as well.

The five-bullet hit kill range of the EBR-800 in AR mode should also be increased as well, while in sniper mode, the EBR-800's ADS sway speed should be reduced.

Other changes included in the upcoming "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" patch are ones that will add the R-VN, the UDM and the Axe to Epic Gun Game.

Season pass owners should now be able to successfully download the "Sabotage" downloadable content from inside the game as well if they are playing on the Xbox One once the patch has been installed.

A variety of map fixes are also included in this new patch, so players can check those out too.

For now, an official release date for this patch has not been announced just yet, though players should be able to download it sooner rather than later.

More news about other patches that may be released for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" should be made available in the near future.
