According to Downey, the major change in the political climate in the U.S. government will have a big impact on Tony Stark, pushing Iron Man to display acts that are unbecoming of him.

Meanwhile, this battle between the superheroes themselves should not come as a surprise, though, according to Marvel Studios boss, Kevin Feige. While it's true that they battle villains as a group, it is realistic to view them as individuals with differences. With that, the best avenue to showcase their set of differences is via the film "Captain America: Civil War."

However, "Captain America: Civil War" is not only about tackling the differences among the members of the Avengers and other superheroes. According to the film's director, the movie will also show the change of psychology in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
